Philip Stein and Peace Love raise awareness for Mental Health month

May 7, 2014

One in four Americans live with diagnosable mental health, yet many are living in silence and won’t get the help they need due to stigmas surrounding the disease. To raise awareness for Mental Health Month, Philip Stein, the wellbeing technology and premium lifestyle brand, is partnering with PeaceLove in an effort to support the millions of families and children impacted by mental health disorders. During the month of May, the children of Bradley Hospital in East Providence, RI will participate in workshops every Monday in order to improve their wellness through expressive art. The workshops will challenge over 200 children to design their own Philip Stein Strap, based on the concept “It’s Time to Live in Peace!” Four lucky “designers” will be selected to have their design come to life in a one-of-a-kind watch. All the aspiring young artists will receive their own mini art kit so they can continue their expressive arts journey thanks to the support of Philip Stein.

“In continuing to build our ‘Live in Tune’ philosophy, we strive to help others create a balance between the body and mind,” said Will Stein, President and Co-Founder of Philip Stein.” Our goal in partnering with PeaceLove is to boost wellness in the children of Bradley Hospital through their creative expression and to bring awareness for many affected by a mental health illness.”
